A Midsummer Nights Dream - Shakespeare Schools Massive
Nottingham Playhouse - Realised Design
A dark forest, four human lovers and wicked fairies unite in a whole heap of mix-ups in one of Shakespeare’s most well loved comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As guests gather to celebrate a wedding in Greece, menacing and disturbing creatures, who lurk in the Forest of Arden, take amusement in meddling in young lover’s affections. Nothing is what it seems as otherworldly forces conjure their own entertainment from watching the distraught humans try to find true love.

The Design was unable to have any scene changes, therefore they had to rely on different lighting states to change the scene from a Greek island to the pits of Hell.
