Hamlet is Shakespeares famous ghost play. Hamlets father returns from the grave to warn his son about corruption on the throne, sending Hamlet into a state of madness and paranoia. 

 

Reflecting on the current affairs in America. Katie choose to set Hamlet within the White House.  Linking the play into a modern setting gives the audience something they understand making to text easier to follow.
