Seven Acts of Mercy is a play which shifts through time - set in Naples 1606 and Bootle present day. In Naples Caravaggio works tirelessly to complete his masterpiece, The Seven Acts of Mercy in the ‎Pio Monte della Misericordia. In Bootle, Leon teaches his grandson Mickey about his love for art. Whilst struggling with the pressure of losing their home Mickey attempts to find his 'Seven Acts of Mercy', and the two worlds begin to merge.

 

Katie decided to set this piece mainly within the Pio Monte della Misericordia in which Bootle seems to bleed into to historic monument.
